PRICING:

Each Bengal is individually evaluated and priced according to the Bengal standard of perfection. Pets can vary from $600-$1,500, depending on color, pattern/markings, pelt clarity and quality. Top quality pets/show alters are at the high end-1,200-$1,500. The average pet kitten costs about $900 and this includes spay/neuter surgery. Breeders range from $1,500-$2,500. Top show prospects range from $2,500-$3,500. Occasionally we have retired adults to offer at reasonable prices.

We believe in responsible pet ownership and breeding. We are advocates of early spay/neuter programs. We have been active in breed rescue for years & have learned many things. The most important one is mom's motto in rescue. "If you are not part of the solution--You are part of the problem!"

We've not seen "a cheap or bargain kitten"...you get what you pay for! There are many factors and expenses that go into properly raising a litter. Responsible breeders take great pride in all their efforts and expenses to help create beautiful, healthy felines. This is an expensive hobby and breeding is done responsibly for the improvement of the breed. It takes many hours of cleaning, training and socializing to properly raise a kitten. Don't let anyone fool you, that all Bengals are the same. Trust us, after years of doing rescue, they are not! Great grand daddy's motto still rings true today. "Quality does not cost--It pays!!"

The average life span of a well cared for Bengal today is about 16 years. If the purchase price is $1,000, and remember that often includes the spay/neuter surgery, and the cat lives 16 years, that would boil down to $5.20 a month. Talk about a great bargain!! Now, isn't it worth the initial couple hundred dollars more to get the kitten of your dreams from a reputable breeder that offers a guarantee & has worked diligently to provide a stable healthy kitten, rather than take a chance and purchase one from some "john doe in the paper", that you most likely will never see or hear from again?

PICK UP & SHIPPING:

We prefer to meet people in person and encourage them to visit us, but realize that is not always feasible. We do ship within the continental US and Canada at purchaser's expense. Currently it costs about $250 to ship a kitten, but as fuel and services increase so, unfortunately, will the price. This includes a health certificate from the vet, an airline approved shipping kennel and appropriate bedding for traveling, as allowed. Feel free to contact us for a quote.
